Using kingston's value rams (4+4=8gb) on a late 2011 macbook pro 15 inch won't hurt at all. No problems so far and I have been using them since the last two weeks. Only thing that can frustrate you at the beginning is that you need to calibrate your laptop's battery after installing them. The battery "may" (it may also not) seem like it ends up fast, but after just one battery calibration, everything works ultra fine. So no need to pay a fortune to buy ram from apple or its certified partners.

Rumour: iPad 3 on its way late 2011!!

Not only do we know if and when iPad 2 will be unveiled but now there are rumours that iPad 3 will be out later in 2011, according to John Gruber of Daring Fireball talking about the HP touchpad he said "If my theory is right, they’re not only going to be months behind the iPad 2, but if they slip until late summer, they might bump up against the release of the iPad 3" . My guess is that he was just joking, poking fun at the HP device when it comes up against the 3rd version of the iPad, and he quickly distanced himself from the statement in a later post. There are many other websites reporting on the same issue, but this just adds fuel to the fire, of which they may be no truth in at all. The chances are that the iPad 2 will be announced at the WWDC in June or possibly earlier, but to have an iPad 3 also on the go is somewhat fanciful to say the least.
