The Good Old Days
Why was it so easy to talk to people in high school? Now, no one replies to anything even though we have better phones. What happened...
This is just going to turn into a rant.

Like I just don't understand. Nearly everyone I know has this crazy piece of technology in their pockets with 4G and other crazy things loaded into it to make communication with other people so much easier. Yet, society has made it weird when people reply right away. Like why? I reply fast because I have this fast piece of shit connecting me to the internet, and I keep my phone with me all the time. Most people do too. I remember like 5-6 years ago, my phone didn't have internet and I had to text google at 466453 for directions or weather. I remember when internet was lame, but we still managed to have group webcam sessions and stay up late because it was fun, and we all wanted to get to know each other. I remember when typing in T9Word or ABC without looking was the best thing especially while driving or in class. Now we have internet speeds up the wazooo, smart phones that have useless shit like flappy bird, QWERTY touch screen keyboards, and no one seems to actually use a phone for a phone anymore. As technology improved, what we hoped would bring us closer to one another is doing the complete inverse. Maybe it's cause we have more responsibility, but that doesn't mean socializing has to stop.
