The kids in Bitten made a bunch of comments about it. So at least early season 8. (There may be some instances since then, though.)

So it's probably one of these two, depending on how you want to read the thing in The Purge - did he really get a 'gay couple' vibe from them or was he just poking Dean with it? (I also had an anon mention Crowley speaking of Sam as Dean's wife, but that seems to more clearly fall into the 'poke' category).

Basically I was wondering whether they'd dropped that trope on Sam and Dean as they turned up the romantic subtext on Dean and Cas... and so maybe they didn't drop it altogether, but toned it down?

I expected /some/ wank from this con (I always expect some amount of wank from an SPN con), but I certainly did not expect what actually went down. Unbelievable :s

Maybe the universe needed to balance things out after the relative calm of the previous con. :-P

I was laughing at myself earlier today while reading people's criticism of last night's episode (awww, /r/fandomnatural didn't like it), because I truly enjoyed 10x03 but I realized that a lot of my enjoyment was coming from what I wanted from the episode: All I wanted from that episode was for it to not fuck things up. I mean...I was mentally prepared for everything else. It was "Nepotism Duo" after all. I knew it would have all their usual problems.

And thus the episode greatly exceeded my expectations! Basically every slight good thing on top of not fucking everything up felt like a giant gift. OMG, Cas letting Hannah down? How shockingly non-offensive! OMG, blue eyes flashing alongside black eyes! That's 10 seconds more of Dean and Cas than I'd even dared hope for!

Now I've moved on to fearing the 200th. :-P
