Meh, I'm already over it/her. Karaoke is one of those things where I could be there by myself and still enjoy it.

I'm just waiting to see if she offers up an explanation. I assume one of two things:

1. She fell asleep. 2. She had a hunch I was going to bring up the whole thing and decided she couldn't handle it.

I dunno what the big deal is though. It would've been all of 5 minutes of being completely honest and then I was ready to go back to the way we were. As long as I'm not the one who makes it weird I think I'm golden.

Too many cool people around here to get fixated on one person anyway lol

#latestartpremed-Why I don't think I' going to med school

So, I'm terrified of the MCAT and commitment.

I don't feel confident enough in my math background to take the MCAT or my science background really. Before college I'd never taken a real science class and in college I do decently well in my science classes, but chem and physics are a serious struggle. 

I'm also not sure if my love of all things bio and human body related are enough to get me through the two years of intense studying and test taking that will happen in med school.  I think I'm really burnt out on constant test prep. From a more practical standpoint, I can't imagine going 4 years spending the majority of time doing something that won't pay. I don't have any type of family support or cushion other than financial aid. :(

I think I'm just having serious doubts that I need to be a doctor to be happy. I don't know if I want to study medicine anymore because it's what I love or because I've never allowed myself the possibility of considering anything else. I'm not really sure where that leaves me. I'm considering applying for several PhD and MS programs in clinical psychology so that I can still treat patients but from a cognitive-behavioral standpoint.

I am a physical note taker. I take notes in class on the computer, print them off after class and review them.

I’m old school. The feeling of paper puts it in my head semi permanently

Maybe I should wait until I take a block exam before I make a final decision. The ease of searching/scrolling seems clutch, though.

Thanks! Nevertheless, I did decide for sure to take a break from 5/3/1 and adopt my neighbor's program. I have a deep desire to fit into my many button-ups again. I don't mind things being tight in the chest and arms, but not fitting around the waist has been problematic.

Hopefully I don't lose too many of my strength gains from the past six months!

I hate how true this is. Any time a guy is a little interested even if he's not at ALL what I'm interested in, I feel obligated to not only be nice when he's hitting on me, but also to give him a chance. There has to be some interesting psychology/sociology behind this.

I thought the Cheerios ad was adorable too. I guess living in a place where interracial relationships are SUPER frowned upon (my little bro's Hispanic/white gf just had N*-lover spray painted on her yard last week) I kinda figured there would be some backlash. But not as ugly as it was before the comment section was removed.
