Mas Fuego Riddim

Last week we dropped the first in our SNSBLDNCHLMX series with a 50 minute Latin American mix. Inspired by the fantastic Galang Radio alongside my new-found passion to learn a language, the mix has been warmly received from Argentina to Aylesbury, via Brooklyn courtesy of Caribbean music and culture global-leaders Large Up. One omission from the Senor, ten piedad! mix is last year's massive Mas Fuego riddim (More Fire) taking both elements of south American salsa and modern reggae/dancehall, featuring T.O.K with the title track (above, with a majority of Spanish singing), Wayne Marshal on Salsa Wine and Leftside with This Girl (featuring salsa style breakdown no less). Maybe we'll revisit the Latin American theme again in future months.
