Emotional Response is coming back strong with two releases - this one from The Bachelor Pad (Glasgow, Scotland) , and a new LP from Latitude (San Francisco).
The Bachelor Pad is well described on the Emotional Response release page: “ Imagine The Buzzcocks with Syd Barrett as the singer!” When I read that, I was immediately drawn to the release.
I would add another Emotional Response artist - Mick Trouble or Television Personalities to the list of “comparisons”.
In my mind, Emotional Response has become one of the most consistently reliable labels (alongside the previously posted Subjangle).
