thinking about Naomi Solace/Latricia Lake

I have been thinking a lot about the potential of latromi (latricia lake x naomi solace) lately and like... it would absolutely make the most sense for them to have met via their sons. But I think it would be HILARIOUS if they somehow met in a completely unrelated manner.

Like, Latricia is a music theory professor, so maybe she offers extra credit to anybody who goes to some local music festival because she wants to encourage her students to interact with live music, and so she goes to watch it herself as well, and Naomi is one of the performers and somehow or another they start talking.

And they get to talking about their sons, and Latricias cover story is that Austin is at a "music camp" on Long Island New York, and Naomi is like "omg that's so interesting my son goes to summer camp on Long Island too!" and then she gets up a picture of Will and he's wearing the Camp Half Blood Orange shirt and the two women share a look like. Oh.

And then they find out not only do they both have demigod children, but they both are from the same dad?!?!? I just think there's comedic potential idk.

at some point I really need to write a fic about Will and Austin being step brothers because their moms got married

At some point in the future of the Wild West au Naomi goes up to Will and asks “hey you know that super secret gay club you’re in? Any chance Latricia’s in it too?” And Will says “mom, you can’t ask me questions like that, I can’t tell you who’s in the club without their permission because that would be super shitty” so Naomi’s like “ok right yeah I respect that BUT if Latricia IS in your gay club you could tell her that I’m cool with that. Like super cool. The coolest. Also remind her that I’m single. But only if she’s single too.”

Will and Austin suddenly both leave camp for a few weeks and they come back like 'Sorry our mums got married, we had to attend the wedding.'

Latricia adopts Will and Naomi adopts Austin so now they’re half brothers, step brothers, and adoptive brothers

Yeah most fandoms are severely lacking in f/f ships but it’s definitely improving. Personally I love theyna but I like them being aroace and in a qpr a little bit more? Also I’m SO into Naomi/Latricia even though both of them are only mentioned once and never appear so I don’t know why anyone else would care lol
