thinking about Naomi Solace/Latricia Lake
haven’t drawn in a while, so...
I have been thinking a lot about the potential of latromi (latricia lake x naomi solace) lately and like... it would absolutely make the most sense for them to have met via their sons. But I think it would be HILARIOUS if they somehow met in a completely unrelated manner.
Like, Latricia is a music theory professor, so maybe she offers extra credit to anybody who goes to some local music festival because she wants to encourage her students to interact with live music, and so she goes to watch it herself as well, and Naomi is one of the performers and somehow or another they start talking.
And they get to talking about their sons, and Latricias cover story is that Austin is at a "music camp" on Long Island New York, and Naomi is like "omg that's so interesting my son goes to summer camp on Long Island too!" and then she gets up a picture of Will and he's wearing the Camp Half Blood Orange shirt and the two women share a look like. Oh.
And then they find out not only do they both have demigod children, but they both are from the same dad?!?!? I just think there's comedic potential idk.

at some point I really need to write a fic about Will and Austin being step brothers because their moms got married
meeting apollo again like ':) u have very good taste, anyway we're together :)'
Will writing to his dad like “so apparently I’ve had a brother living in town with me this whole time and I never knew, also your ex girlfriends are dating”
we miss our husbands 😔 its so sad we're both totally widows 100%, well,,,, guess we just gotta move in and cuddle because ya know,,,, sad widow
This is even better when you consider that one day they’re going to find out that both of their “dead husbands” are alive and also happen to be the same person
Imagine them being like “I guess we both have good taste ;)”
"we share a bed because we're sad old women and no other reason."
