first of all, leo was everything we imagined in geller and more. the backstory was so beautiful and heart-achingly real. and that father-son relationship?? wE LOVE IT SO SO MUCH like how saul and leo saved each other?? precious. we love the restless energy that leo has and can’t wait to see what he does with it !! we’re pretty sure he’d be able to cause a lot of ruckus down in bennington street.

your take on alex was so unexpected but so, so wonderful. the whole app is literally chef’s kiss. alex’s backstory and her dreams are so precious and we love how you incorporated the convenience store in a way that we didn’t expect. she’s really such a precious bean and we love her so much.

we really, really hope your riley sticks around because she is wonderful !! we love how she grew through her family’s tragedy and through that tragedy, developed a need to take care of other people. we love how you touched on her connections. but personally, our favorite part must be how you touched on her LA road trip. you are the first riley applicant to touch on it and how much it means to her. overall, we love your riley and hope to see her on the dash !!

you have really captured the repressed dreamy girl who cares for her friends vibe that we were really envisioning for riley !! we love, love your app and thought it was so sweet. we love how you emphasized on her mothering nature and optimism because that is something that we weren’t able to really focus on deeply in the skeleton. we’re just so excited to see riley’s adorable self on the dash !!

okay first of all this isn’t an interpretation we were expecting, but let me tell you wE ARE HERE FOR IT !! your nico is eccentric and wonderful, i found myself grinning as i read your app. there are so many wonderful layers to their personality and we enjoyed reading about each part of their life--from their gaming streaming to their nightly adventures (winkwonk). we have a really big feeling nico will fit right in the bennington gang.

what really made us latch on to your murphy is the sad ass backstory you gave him. like seriously yo, cute himbos with tearjerking backstories are our kryptonite. also the part where you say the media makes him out to be a playboy but actually he’s not? yES. we also really loved your future vision section and we think you have some real fun ideas for plots !! can’t wait to see murph’s cute self running round bennington !!

you application literally made us sCREAM !!! everything was just perfect and we loved how you explored robin’s inner conflict especially since he continues to make films about class struggles he can’t necessarily relate to. you captured the ~pretentious~ artist persona we’ve envisioned for him in the skeleton so wELL (and that line about howard zinn im sdfljafd). everything was just so well-written and wonderful and aAAHHHH you can’t imagine how excited we are to have him interact with everyone !!

hellooo, everyone !! we have emerged from deliberating acceptances. first of all we we would both like to say that it took as  along time because we really wanted to read each and every app, even if they didn’t have any competition. all the apps were so wonderful and we’re so lucky to have read all of them. please know that if you weren’t accepted, we’ll still be releasing more skeletons soon, so we hope you’ll give us another look by then. thank you so much for applying, everyone !! we enjoyed looking at pinterests and listening to all of the playlists while reading the apps !! all accepted characters can be found under the read more !!

madi, omg where do we even start?? edward is perfeCT !! it is so easy to write charles off as a stereotype but he had layers and we loved his backstory so, so much. everything about that app--from the connections to the future vision part was *chef’s kiss* and we entrust charles into your more than capable hands.

we received two very wonderful apps for eliza, but we loved how your eliza was a fighter, litERALLY !! when we wrote eliza’s skeleton, we imagined her always having this tough internal struggle to fight back against her circumstances and you captured this perfectly from her being in the foster care system to her participation in fight clubs to being a lawyer.  eliza could punch us in the face and we’d thank her.

okay, first of all, you had such a unique and cute app format and it perfectly captured nico’s voice. we love how you incorporated the connections into your app, and we love nico. they are such a Wholesome Bean and we want to give them a hug. i’m lit rally so excited to see them on the dash, and you’ll be happy to know that your ideas for future plots match perfectly with the other applications !!

how can an app be so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time??? raphael was just flat-out precious. what we loved most about your app was how you managed to tie in raph’s backstory with his connections like everything was so well thought out?? we love raph so much and uGH you don’t understand how freakin excited we are to plot with you !!

this captures our Resident Mom really well and we love how you changed riley’s job to pastry chef because it suits her so much better !! we also really really loved the future vision section and our favorite part is when you said riley needs to realize that her friends don’t need her 24/7 because aHHHH this is such a unique take to the Mom Friend trope.

we had three apps for tommy, but yours really stood out because of the effort you put into researching his roots like his hometown and the sort of music he likes. he seems like such a realistic character and his future vision section is honESTLY brilliant !!

okay, ngl, this was the hardest decision, but what made us really choose your sophia was the backstory. we love the part about her being a child model, how she was always doted on, her family’s fall from grace, and most of all, how she chose to rebel against them. it was such a unique take on the character that we had to choose this version of sophia !!
