329日 深みに漕ぎ出す
ルカ 5:4 4 話が終わると、シモンに、「深みに漕ぎ出して、網をおろして魚を取りなさい」と言われた。
神はあなたを大いに祝福したいと願われます。シモンに「深みに漕ぎ出して、網（複数）をおろして魚を取りなさい」と言ったのは、この理由からでし た。魚が多くいる場所は沖の深みです。水際の浅瀬には、あまりいません。しかし、沖に漕ぎ出すと言う事は、安全地帯の水際から離れることです。
友の皆さん、神があなたの心に置いたことをする為に、あなたが安全地帯から離れ、信仰をもって踏み出すことを、神は望まれます。それは簡単なことか もしれませんが、今まであなたが一度もしなかった事、又は、ただ夢見ていた事。たとえば、ケアグループ（メンバーの家に集まる小さなグループ）に出席する など。教会のあるメンバーがそれを実行して、愛を見つけました。今日彼女は、結婚して幸せにしています。
さて、イエスはこう言われます、「深みに漕ぎ出して・・・」又、言われます「網（複数）をおろして魚をとりなさい」。彼が使ったのは網の複数形 netsで、単数形のnetではありませんでした。愛されている皆さん、神はあなたが必要としている以上のものを与えたいと望まれます。神のあなたへの夢 は、あなたが見るどの夢より大きいものです。 大きく夢を見ましょう。そして、神は、更にそれを越えることをして下さいます。なぜなら、神はあなたの願うところ、思うところのすべてを超えて、与えるこ とを喜ばれるからです。（エペソ3:20）
教会の別のメンバーは、会社に勤めていましたが、実は自分で会社を始めたいと考えていました。彼といっしょに祈っている時、神は私に、かれが自分で 会社を始めるようにとの言葉を下さいました。彼がそれを実行すると、初月の末に、すでに良い利益をあげました。今日、かれは複数の会社を持ち、彼の事業は 繁栄しています。神は、彼の途方も無いように思えた夢以上の祝福を与えています。
愛されている皆さん、神は、あなたの途方も無い夢を越えて、祝福したいと望まれます。神はシモンにそうされました。かれは、捕えた魚の量の多さにひ どく驚きました。（ルカ5:9） しかし、この網が破れて、船が沈んでしまいそうなほどの大漁は、かれがまず深みに漕ぎ出し、そして捕えたものでした。 （6-7節） あなたも、安全地帯を離れて、主と共に深みに漕ぎ出すと、あなたが得る収穫のおおきさにびっくりすることでしょう！

Day 329 Launch Out Into The Deep
Luke 5:4
4When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
God wants to bless you — big-time! It was for this reason that He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” The deep is where you will find a whole lot of fish. You won’t find them near the shore in shallow waters. But to launch out into the deep is to move away from the comfort of the shoreline.
My friend, God wants you to break away from your comfort zone and step out in faith to do what He has put in your heart. It may be something simple, but which you have never done before or only dreamt of, like attending a care group. A church member did just that and found love. Today, she is happily married.
Now, our Lord Jesus who said, “Launch out into the deep…” also said, “… let down your nets for a catch.” Notice that He used the plural “nets” and not the singular “net”. Beloved, God wants to give you more than what you need. His dream for you is bigger than anything you can ever dream of. Dream big and God will exceed your dream because He delights in giving you exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)
Another church member who was formerly working for someone else had wanted to start his own company. When praying with him, I received a word from the Lord for him to launch out on his own. When he did that, he made a handsome profit at the end of the first month alone! Today, he has more than one company and his businesses are flourishing. God is blessing him beyond his wildest dreams!
Beloved, God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams. He did it for Simon who was astonished at the size of the catch of fish. (Luke 5:9) But it was not until Simon launched out into the deep that he ended up with the net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish. (Luke 5:6–7) You, too, will be astonished at your catch when you step out of your comfort zone and launch out into the deep with the Lord!

Day 35 - "Launch Out"
"And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret. And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men." - Luke 5:1-10
I did not learn to swim until a very late age, so the deep end of a pool, or river or even the sea brought great fear. It was not until I overcame my fear of drowning and the deep was I then able to learn how to swim. It was a different case for Simon a fisherman. He toiled all night in search of fish but to no avail. Jesus' command to Simon was to launch out into the deep and despite fishing all night to the point of weariness he followed. The first point that we can draw on from this scripture is that our own efforts to do something outside of Christ can result in nothing. We toil night and day in search of purpose, hope or even prosperity and this can be disheartening.
However this leads us to the second point that through Jesus we can gain much success. Both ships were filled with fishes so much that they both began to sink. But the major point I would like us to take into consideration is the command. Jesus commanded Simon to launch out into the deep. Jesus had a bigger plan for Simon's life as seen in verse 10, "And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men." We all have a role to play in the kingdom of God and sometimes that requires us to go further, deeper, higher in Christ. Throughout scripture we see God's calling on individuals to step out of their comfort zone into something bigger than themselves. Abram was called to leave his hometown and go to a land that will be showed to him. Moses was called to lead the nation of Israel out of Egypt. Joseph was called to leadership to save a nation from drought and famine and there are many more instances where God called individuals for something greater. Is God commanding you today to launch out into the deep? Are you willing like Simon to listen to God despite toiling through life? Let us today see what greater heights God is calling us to.
