A sweet melody comes piercing through acute eardrums as the reverberating timbre echoes through the enclosed room, his tall stature leaning against the door’s frame as hazel orbs trace out every vivid kissing of the latter’s rough pads against the piano’s delicate keys, long rows that dance across the surface of the refined instrument as if they were meant to be. It’s fascinating, to say the least.

The simple symphony draws the young photographer back to their very first meeting -- an event where the male was hired by the hosts in order to photograph moments through its entirety, however it was the captivating chant of a sharp notes that caught his attention, absentmindedly leading cautious steps towards the latter. An exchange of contacts was then the seed to be watered, the source of a blossoming friendship between the two.

Perhaps the halt of notes mixing into a pleasant song came when his presence was perceived and he snaps out of a trance, his figure lead all the way towards the other male until lithe rows of fingers are running through the outline of the piano found before his figure, the ghost of a smile plastered along rosy lines of perfectly sculpted lips. “You still play as beautifully as the first time I listened to it.” It cuts through the air only to fade seconds later when his palm is idly retracted from the cold surface of the instrument in respect to its owner, diving into the depths of his jean’s pocket instead. It is, indeed, still as fascinating -- music, especially the soothing harmony of a piano, has always been one of his most cherished passions.

“It’s been a while, Solomon. How have you been?” The flow of words spills from the back of his throat as the young male settles by the latter’s side, a buff of air exhaled through delicate nostrils before his attention may be directed towards the fingers still in contact with keypads before them. It has indeed been a while ever since the last time he paid the other a visit, or even dared to contact him, however life sliced through every path made present within his agenda, blocking any sort of communications with the outer world. It was about time to come find one of the most inspiring pianists he has ever had the pleasure of developing some sort of friendship with.

✔: What type of person would your muse like as a husband/wife, if they ever thought about getting married?

If Jongdae were to ever get married, the person he’d want to spend the rest of his life with would have to be someone that challenges him and promotes inner growth in his character. They would have to be someone that doesn’t mind getting teased or taken out, and unafraid of his playful demeanor. He’d want for his future partner to be someone that knows how to take care of him, loves him for who he is, and can call him out for doing stupid things.

✘: What type of person would your muse most likely not feel attracted to at all? What traits (negative ones) would they need to have? Explain.

He doesn’t like people that are crazy stuck up. Like the ones that have got sticks up their asses who inherently believe that they’re so much better than everybody else. Jongdae gets easily irritated by these sorts of people and is most likely to stay away from them. There isn’t much that he doesn’t like because he believes that he could ultimately be attracted to anyone, regardless of how their personality is but he tries to steer clear of those mentioned.

♪ : Music! It says a lot about people, doesn’t it? What type of music would someone find your muse listening to? How did they get into a specific artist/band? Do they have any singer crushes? Do they hate singers or music genres?

Jongdae can be found listening to all sorts of music, it really depends on his mood. Except country. He can’t bring himself to listen to that or that Christian music that his parents used to play on CDs in their busted minivan. Besides that, he’s really open to all sorts of genres. Currently, he really likes listening to alternative and indie stations on the radio, and radio has typically been the way he gets introduced to other bands, lately he loves the band Nothing But Thieves. Since he’s moved back to Korea, he’s developed a few crushes on some artists, most notably Lim Kim.

✿: Arts! We must respect that not everyone can draw, paint, write, sing.. but even though they cannot do these things, something artistic must be of their liking, right? What does your muse like and appreciate more from all the forms of art? If they could, would they write, sing, draw.. ? Favourite artists (writers, painters..)?

It seems AWFULLY cliche to say something like this but Jongdae’s really.... typical? He likes going to art museums every so often but it’s not like he has any favorite artists. He just thinks they’re pretty and doesn’t think much more of it than that. His favorite book is The Little Prince (which was why he got the tattoo) and he wishes he could paint. Jongdae was surrounded by a lot of art/soc majors at college so he’s been envious of their talent. He doesn’t think of himself as an artist though, even though he can sing, because he’s singing someone else’s words. It doesn’t mirror his own personality.

✌: Some people don’t feel comfortable going to parties or going out generally, what about your muse? Are they the party’s spirit, are they the person that usually stays and sulks in a corner or they’d rather prefer to stay inside, watching a movie?

He loves parties when he isn’t the one hosting them. This applies to both formal and informal types of gatherings due to some of his previous experiences in college. Unfortunately, Jongdae’s seen a little too many frat parties while at UCSB where students would wake up on the patio or draped around a dingy couch with some oddly shaped stain whose origins nobody could recall. It’s too hectic for his own liking and he doesn’t want to put himself under the stress.

✪: How confident is your muse about themselves, both personality wise and physically? Do they consider themselves a good person, attractive, sexy?

Physically, Jongdae considers himself to be pretty average, he knows he’s not some hunk but he likes to point out that if you squint a little there might be a hint of some toned abs. He’s not the type to brag about it though, but he likes to be humored. Personality wise, he thinks he’s an alright guy, doesn’t purposefully go out of his way to hurt someone. However, Jongdae is the type to have a lot of insecurities about himself sometimes especially in his relationships with other people (whether it’s his friends, family, partners) because in the back of his mind all good things do come to an end and oftentimes, he’ll place the blame on himself for things coming to an end (i.e. he starts to second guess things, jumps to conclusions that people think he’s boring, worries a lot).

Basically, a long winded way of saying he likes himself as a person but he also sees himself as a problem?

♢: Not many people are comfortable to talk about their sexuality so openly, to tell someone they’re in the mood for something specific. What about your muse? Are they comfortable with such talks between, say, a friend and themselves? Or would they rather keep such things private?

He’s comfortable talking about it with anyone given that they ask. Jongdae’s not the type to blurt it out suddenly because he doesn’t think that people will care? Since he openly flirts with just about everyone, it’s also taken as a joke, and most of the time any rumors about his sexuality are dismissed. It’s jus a giant mystery for those who don’t ask.

⌤: Allergies! Surely, not everyone has one but if your muse does, do tell us about it!

No allergies! Unfortunately, his mother and brother do have an allergy to cats though, which was primarily the reason why they weren’t allowed to have pets in the house when he was young.

⌨: The internet! Does your muse use any social medias? If they don’t, would they? Why (yes or no)? What’s their opinion about putting information about themselves out there, where anyone could read it?

He does have a Facebook and Twitter account but they’re both pretty much dead at this point. He doesn’t care to go on them as much as he does Snapchat. Jongdae snapchats people more than anything else and probably abuses all the filter options. He’s thought about getting an Instagram but isn’t completely sure of it yet since he has no idea what he’d post. He doesn’t think that he’s putting that much information about himself out there and doesn’t really think that strangers out there would really care to begin with.
