SIMON PETERS FASHION FILM 'HOST'
In an effort to raise awareness, and inspired by former model and dancer, Laura Cherry; Host depicts the story of a woman suffering from Morgellons and Lyme disease. Morgellons disease is a multi-systemic disorder characterized by ulcerating skin lesions, with protruding coloured filaments and the painful shedding of granules, crystals and unusual formations from the skin. Peters uses material experiments of wire, metal objects, magnets and plastics through a textile approach, which is showcased in the film alongside this AW14 collection The Atilla Saga, producing a intense spine-tingling visual masterpiece.
