Peppermint smells exactly like candy canes, scoops out easy, spreads in your hands nice and creamy and goes in your hair real smooth. Hold is awesome for a medium, really stays slick and tight.

INTRODUCING SIMON PETERS AW14: THE ATILLA SAGA
We were taken aback upon discovering the Simon Peters AW14 graduate collection "The Atilla Saga". The London College of Fashion designer took inspiration from the thought-provoking lyrics of Bjork and her Icelandic homeland in this collection; creating an otherworldly effect of naturalism vs. human emotion. The expressive brush strokes, movement through textures and strong graphic prints of crystal formations that appear in Peters' silk jersey and satins evoke an organic feel. The effect of this beautifully demonstrates the relationship between modern technology and the delicate condition of the atmosphere we live in. With his distinctly modern silhouettes, Swarovski encrusted hoods and pockets, intricate detailing and couture techniques, combined with high calibre transparent fabrics; this collection is anything but ordinary.
The design process of Simon Peters often stems from his own photography, taking inspiration from nature and his surroundings. He then develops his prints through different mediums. On-going experimentation into materials and fabrication processes allow him to create different surface textures, which aim to provoke human emotions through a sensory experience.
Interestingly, Simon Peters' accessories line is based upon DNA and patients’ symptoms of Lyme disease and Morgellons. In doing so, he utilises man-made materials such as rubber and mesh with trapped fibres to help build awareness and raise money for former model/ dancer Laura Cherry and The Charles Holman Foundation.
With his experimental techniques and refreshing designs, Simon Peters is certainly one to watch! Don't miss Peters' showcase for RAW LONDON in July where he is one of the featured designer, as well as his AW14 fashion film, which he is currently shooting. We look forward to seeing more great things from this emerging talent! Photography by Jonny Bosworth (@ScallywagFox)
