What are the theories you all have for series 2? Feel free to comment them here or send an ask & I will be more than happy to post it.

Personally, I very much enjoy talking about the theories that I have for the shows I love, so here are a few of my “how they could potentially get out of this” theories that I have for series 2.

⚰️ The Garvey sisters are faced with legal ramifications & charges for what happened to JPrick but Roger takes the fall for them all, makes a point about how could Grace have dragged a man of that size & set him up like that in the woods on her own & maybe even lies for them by saying that he saw JPrick attack Grace & just killed him because he had planned to kill him for what he'd done to him as it stood.

⚰️ Grace does get found out & they all have to face repercussions for what happened but it falls apart in court because the entire town (& more than likely his own daughter, whom I initially thought had killed him the first time I saw this show) hated that monster & she gets let off for with a justifiable homicide or self defence. She could easily say that he attacked her, which he did & it was an act of self defence.

⚰️ Similarly to what she did in series 1, except hopefully without THAT being an option, Becka tries to take responsibility for what happened due to Minna getting caught in the crossfire because, personally, the only person I think that should face any sort of consequences for anything is Becka for what happened to Minna & gets Matt to help with this but still, everyone that knew that man comes to her defence anyway because of the fact that even hell was too nice of a place for him. This is the theory I am least confident on because they did a very good job of hiding all the evidence.

⚰️ As JPrick, Minna, George & Laura are dead, Minna's house gets sold on & done up nice & a nice new homeowner/homeowners finds the suitcase that has George's remains in the garden pond/river/canal (I have been trying to figure out which one it is) because I personally always thought that they never gave screen time to JPrick unless it was absolutely 100% vital to the story & the cinematic moment of him throwing the case with his father's remains & the eyes into the pond/river/canal always made me wonder if that would come back to help anyone in the future because this for me goes back to Laura Williams. We are never told how she died, we know JPrick liked to drown frogs in milk so I have always thought that he killed his sister, the only way I rationalised still liking Becka after what happened to Minna was that I thought that JPrick would have killed Minna himself at some point. He stood there & watched his father die & as their relationship was odd to say the least, I genuinely think that had he lived, JPrick would have ended up killing Becka & made it look like an accident. There could be more people he killed & dumped in that pond/river/canal, we may never know but if that is where they are going with the suitcase storyline then perhaps if the worst comes to it, The Garvey sisters' are spared because he turns out to be a murderer.
