max not being loyal/grateful enough according to rbr is such a slap in the face
he stayed with them through 2017-2020, he kept the team toegther in 2024, he gave them 4 wdcs but more importantly (in their eyes) - 2 wccs and kept them high when they didn't win
red bull in f1 IS max verstappen i really don't know what they are trying to achieve unless the board is thinking about selling the team(s) but that would be stupid right after debuting their engine
It’s such an unfair thing of them to say. Firstly I think Max has been very loyal, for all the reasons you have said above. But also, even if he wasn’t loyal, then so what?! This is a competitive sport and he is the best driver around, Red Bull is not owed eternal loyalty, they have to hold up their side of the bargain which is building a strong team and competitive car.
This is all starting to sound like Max is thinking of leaving or at the very least they are scared of that possibility (as they should be.) It’s so weird though because they are saying he should be loyal and stay but at the same time their actions are shutting him out. If this is all part of their negotiation tactics then it’s very poor on their part. I also struggle to see how they could negotiate a new contact beyond 28 if they aren’t willing to put in exit clauses. It’s like they want unquestioned loyalty without offering anything back.

Yes I'm mostly the same, I don't mind it now and again but there seemed to be a period a while ago when Max was always the one apologising or chasing . The worst is when Max is apologising and he never actually did anything wrong but the other driver is everyone's darling so they all stick up for them and Max is left out and in the wrong.
And zero hate to anybody writing Max begging and pleading for forgiveness, absolutely write what you love and enjoy but for me personally I prefer fics where Max isn't the one having to change or adapt or be "fixed" and he isn't the one doing all the chasing or begging for forgives. I do think we get a lot more of that these days though compared to a couple of years ago.

He was with Rico last night, so he got picked up and thrown around a bit. Dani was the night previous and he likes to take his time and make it last so they were up all night. Tonight he thinks he might go for Charles who likes to tease him but always ends up kissing him all over and praising him softly.
Maybe one night he will invite a couple of his bodyguards to join him at the same time. He hasn't tried that yet but it could be fun.
All this while his arranged marriage is being arranged ..( although perhaps an unexpected pregnancy would throw that into jeopardy!)
