As a lover of his beard, I too was shocked at the knowledge! However, we have to remember that the woman has to deal with sweatpants turned into shorts, tshirts tucked into sweatpants, and a few more fashionably challenged looks of his, so if she wants to be vocal about hating the beard, she deserves that right hahah.
Plus, she probably just enjoys seeing his handsome face without any distractions, so you can’t blame her ;)

I’m sincerely holding out hope that they somehow make him look worse using CGI or whatever magic they have. I mean, seriously, like you said, Frank RIPPED HIS FACE TO SHREDS on that mirror, there would have had to be some disfigurement of some kind. Instead it looks like Frank just sliced at his face a bit with a Ka-bar. Like at least give Billy a scar down his eye or a fucked up eye, or a disfigured nose, just something that makes you go, “Oh fuck!”
