Queen Emma

Queen Emma was a historical figure who lived in the 11th century and was the wife of King Cnut the Great, a famous Viking ruler. She is featured in the Netflix series "Vikings: Valhalla" as a key character.

In the show, Queen Emma is portrayed as a strong-willed and intelligent woman who serves as an advisor to her husband, King Cnut. She is also shown to be a skilled diplomat, able to navigate the complex political landscape of medieval Europe and forge alliances with other powerful leaders.

Historically, Queen Emma was known for her beauty and her extensive charitable works, including the construction of several churches and the establishment of a large hospital in Winchester. She was also a patron of the arts, commissioning the creation of numerous illuminated manuscripts.
