Santin, Santini or Santtini? Confused by all the I’s and T’s? Well we were too, but despite the changing nomenclature between her ranges and restaurants, they all point towards the iconic chef, Laura Santtini.
The Santin family opened their restaurant Santini (extra I included) in 1984 and, it’s the bread and butter to Laura Santtini’s considerable cooking talents; linking flavors and feelings - transforming her books, products, recipes and writing into works of art.
In 2009, Laura launched her flavors collection of sauces and condiments, (Taste #5 Umami Collection), whilst adding the extra ‘T’ to her name to become Laura Santtini. #imeanwhynot…? According to Laura it makes “non-cooks good, good cooks great, and great cooks extraordinary.” But don’t fear if you burnt the chicken, use the ‘Laura PANIC button’ on her website for immediate advice for kitchen emergencies.
