blog renovations
visual laurel was originally supposed to be a free culture blog for my own work. And then I thought it would be a great place to include some fabulous public domain art as well. But there was so much interesting material crossing my dashboard, I simply couldn't resist reblogging here and there. And sometimes more there than here.
So today I've decided to make a few changes. I've launched a new blog called laurel reblogs where I can share culture that's trying to be free.
For a brief moment of madness I considered moving everything that wasn't free culture over there, but besides consuming time it would break too many links.
So everything here stays, but from today everything new here will be free culture, either public domain art (only flat reproductions, as photos of three dimensional work get copyright "protection") and my own original photographs and sometimes art.
Originally all my photographs and art here were licensed CC by-sa but today I've decided to free them up a little more with a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.
