Just met Laurel Hightower at Lexington Comic Con. She was so kind and talked about how there is always room for more writers. I believe this. The more creative people we have in this world, the better it is. Both writing and reading encourage empathy, I think. Both are ways we learn to put ourselves in other people's shoes.
