I don't know if you do any snowest but I was wondering what are your headcannons for them working together as a crime fighting duo?like caitlin as frost and iris helping her in the field/leading the team

okay i love this idea but i also love it with caitlin as soft wistful gay caitlin like every time iris is like “good job out there” caitlin is like yeah thank you stares longingly at iris as she walks out of the room and once iris is out of earshot cisco throws a pen at caitlin and yells GET A REAL JOB

there’s something so intoxicating about someone who has unwavering faith in the humanity you feel you lack and it’s so hard not for caitlin to become attached to iris’ voice in her ear or iris’ praise and she really does think that iris only sees her as a responsibility and doesn’t notice the little dejected ways iris pouts when caitlin awkwardly is like GUESS ILL GO HOME instead of like, waiting for iris to ask her to hang out.

Was there ever a built up between tina and dinah(bs)? I mean tina didn't even know her before the finale.We don't know who attacked who.I am a huge Dinah supporter but I feel this whole dinah/tina rivalry only exists so they can prop up tina and make her the 'worthy' canary and people who hated laurel can be happy when tina calls her a bitch.

I don’t think there was ever really a build up. I think the whole “you thought you could replace me” part in the Season 5 finale was a really cool moment that had that added “ha!” to it, and they decided to turn it into a season-long “clash of the canaries” when there isn’t really anything there to sustain it? But the last anon just told me that Vigilante is Tina’s threat this season, so if that’s the case, then maybe things ease up pretty quickly (around mid-season). 

Personally, I didn’t get the vibe that they were still pushing Siren/Tina in this past episode — although I have only seen Siren’s clips so I could be wrong. It felt like the encounter at the parking lot wasn’t a “rematch” but rather a run-in, and she spent more time fighting Diggle (as Green Arrow) than narrowing in on Tina, so hopefully we get more of her with other members of the team and they don’t fall too hard on Tina/Siren. 

But in another discussion about “build up” in regards to Tina — they haven’t built up anything for her and that’s the problem with the character. She genuinely exists to fill the void of Laurel. She has lines about how Laurel wouldn’t want that, and how Siren isn’t anything like Laurel, when she never even met Laurel. None of it logically makes sense, nor does her assuming the persona of a woman she never met (as Black Canary). Even the conflict with Diggle loses its impact because it’s like... she’s practically foreign to him. And from what I saw of Season 5 with Tina, she was just in the background and had a few “I’m so tough” lines during fights. She just doesn’t work outside of being an extra hand on Team Arrow because there’s nothing there that sustains her — no real, developed connections with the cast, no real reason for being Black Canary, and thus no real reason to care for her.
