🇺🇸Rare trapiche-like asteriated diamond (0.07 ct) with dark grey growth sectors forming a Maltese cross-like pattern. 🇺🇸As a spinel lover a bit geeky I have literally seen and selected my spinels among thousands of rough and facetted samples, all under a microscope, most of them being really small. Here is a picture of what I have been amazed to see in a natural tiny spinel I have purchased few years ago: a “phantom” that has the shape of a “Star of David” ! First time ever I see such a pattern right INSIDE a natural spinel ! Voici une photo de ce que j'ai été surpris de voir dans un cristal de spinelle naturel que j'ai acheté il y a quelques années : un “fantôme” en forme d’”Étoile de David”. C’est la première fois que je vois un tel motif à l’INTÉRIEUR même d'un spinelle naturel !
