i am Thinking. about a Knight!AU but the reader isn't the royal that the knight is protecting

something about the knight being torn between their duty to the kingdom they've sworn their loyalty to and their feelings for you, their heart being pulled in two different directions

Waaaay back when I was asking about how twst languages work, someone on here told me that theres a translation spell at NRC, based on lore from the twst novel but WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME that the spell works by PHYSICALLY moving your mouth to speak the common tongue

🤔 Are there any new characters you want to write about?

in my head i am shaking mr. fox pathtonowhere like a maraca and on my knees for zoya and dr. iron

i've also been on an istj kick (they are incredibly delightfully boring) so i have a couple ideas bouncing around for enstars keito and twst jack

I am STILL chipping away at the lesbian juban disney vlogger au. I am like one incomplete scene away from posting the second chapter, so here is the first few paragraphs from that

Banri is not a creep. In fact, she actually has a very good sense of where people’s boundaries are. It’s why she’s so good at pushing them. Because she is not a creep, she is not trying to follow Violet around. That would just be desperate, and desperate is another thing that Banri is not.

But Kazuko is her vlogging partner, so if Kazuko just happens to arrive at the Magical Kingdom a couple hours after the ice cream encounter and just happens to choose Touka as her cast member of the day to befriend/interview/annoy/harass, then Banri is just going to have to live with the possible accusation that she too is involved.

Secondhand embarrassment is an occupational hazard of being associated with Kazuko Miyoshi. Lucky for Banri, she’s immune to it.

🍄 Are there any fandoms you’ve never written for but want to try?

I got into Path to Nowhere like a month ago and i feel literally insane about it because GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS (and mr. fox..)

the atmosphere of the canon doesn't really suit my typical writing style, which is partially the reason i haven't done much with it fic-wise. writing for ptn would likely be an au or fluffier than the tone of the game. that being said, it would be a good writing exercise to try writing darker themes, so i'll potentially try at some point?

clearing out my ask inbox! there's lots of old requests sitting around so i'd like to go through them again to figure out whether it's something i actually want to answer or if i can just delete it

💖 What is your primary writing goal for this year?

finish my shit lol but in all seriousness, I'm finding myself deviating away from reader inserts and more into character studies (that may or may not also be reader insert). I'd like to do more of those without having to deal with maneuvering a blank slate insert character through the story as well - unless I think it would be helpful, narratively. i just want to put the blorbos in situations and think about how they would deal with them.
