Happy New Year, I am now Fleurisque.
So i finally got a little bit of time on my hands after a long time. 2013 has been a year with school activities packed all the way up to them brim. Being the final year into my tertiary education, i had my final year project during the first half of the year and my internship attachment for the second half. So glad that i'll be ending my torturous internship soon and that i will be graduating in a couple of months time.
Everything seems to be going well since the clock striked 12 and a new page to fill on my dairy. I decided i wanted to start something to remind myself of how blessed i really am. So from the 1st of Jan onwards, i started writing a short message on my dairy each day. This has definitely helped me to count my blessings and made me a happier and an appreciative person.
Back in August 2011, i started Tumblr because i loved all the beautiful and inspiring pictures that i'll be exposed to every single day whenever i come online.
When tumblr became part of my daily routine everyday, i discovered wonderful people like fluffycottoncandies (Mandy) whom i have followed and too, followed me back since the first week i got my tumblr.
Back then, i was marshmellowsnowflakes.
Years have passed and i got to know even more people like frism (Arlene) who've always been a mental support for me. Someone i can share almost everything under the sun and still wouldn't judge me but instead offer comfort.
ikasetyowati (Ika) the only person on tumblr who never fails to send me messages, letters, wishes, blessings, misses even when i was no longer active on tumblr because of school. Everytime i log into tumblr after a long time, i am greeted by her warmth.
Last but not least, lavenderzephyr (WeiQi) and weitinglovetoeat (WeiTing) who became my friends. This pair of sisters are so loving and supportive towards each other i wish the relationship between my brothers were as close as theirs. Also, never once have they forgotten my Birthday and randomly popping by on Twitter just to talk for a bit.
One person that i am truly truly thankful for after i got tumblr is whendreamsflyhigh (Mandy). She is honestly the sweetest sweetest little angel i got to know on tumblr. Her blog says it all. I think we got a little bit closer after winning her botm last year. I'm there when she's down and she's there when im down.
August 2013 was exactly two years after i started my adventure in this wonderful place. But it was then that i changed my url to zenyths. I wanted a new url, a url with meaning and not just random words that popped into my mind when i was creating an account.
January 1st 2014, i changed my url to fleurisque and i am truly loving this new identity. Fleur actually means flower in French. For people who knows me personally, they'd know i love everything floral. From clothes to accesories, everything! Cath Kidston is probably one of my favourite brands and i have uncountable floral pieces and items. Then i was thinking of different ways i could end the word beautifully so -isque kinds of rounds it up, giving it a classy and feminine touch.
