Curious. I couldn't find a single plausible record of your name anywhere within my archives, Ms. LeBlanc. What are you doing in Piltover?

Unusual white and light purple hues is what embraces her form with silk & organdie. "Dear Sheriff, I assure you all my intentions in your fascinating & enjoyable city are but pleasant ones." A low chuckle leaves her, barely concealed behind her ivory digits.

"I have been told there are wonderful artifacts being created and as an ever knowledge-lover I had decided to see them by myself... Is there any problem with a little bit of tourism?" An eyebrow rose, as a little impish expression became part of her semblance.

     It’s not his proudest moment, he’ll admit. He’d expected to be on a ship back to Ionia, not caught and chained in the Sheriff’s holding cell. Their hextech traps were truly a sight to behold, and Jhin expects to be nursing those burns for quite some now. 

     On the other side of the jail bars, the mask of the Golden Demon sits inside an evidence bag. Though his face is still covered by the black eel-skin cowl, he feels horribly exposed, now that it’s out of reach. The Sheriff’s been talking, but he isn’t listening, and instead, his visible eye stares intently at his mask. 

     With his hands cuffed behind his back, Jhin is remarkably fidgety. Perhaps it’s just the unease of being caught, or the discomfort of the metal, or perhaps the Golden Demon has prepared for this. Perhaps, underneath the golden plating of his arm piece, there is a lockpick. Perhaps all it’ll take is a little prodding and twisting, to get the mechanism to release...

     “It has never been about power, Sheriff,” Jhin says, keeping his voice even and unbothered. “I do not do this for the power. You have seen my work. You know exactly why I do this.” 

     Click. Ah...

     Behind his back, the lockpick falls out of his right palm, and into his left. 

     Perfect.

"Is it now?” Akali stared at the officer as her lips pulled back into a smirk. Of all the things she expected to hear, that was not one of them. It wasn’t about her (definitely illegal) weapons, her past clan affiliation that she was certain the other knew about, or even the fact that there was a dangerous individual in her office. She wasn’t complaining though, this meeting could prove to be more interesting than she hoped. She leaned against the wall, having opted not to sit down in front of the woman.

I believe Jayce mentioned you to me, once. You're not nearly as intimidating as he described.

Jayce. Which would make this woman his... friend? She was Piltovian either way - between the outfit and the accent, only a fool would guess she was from anywhere else.

“Your people tend to twist whoever emerges from Zaun into a Shimmer-smearing lunatic. I am certain he was no exception.”

He should really try to learn more about her. Perhaps she would try to assist Jayce the next time the man wished to destroy months of work.

You'd better watch that temper.

“Lil ol me? A temper? Sheriff, you must be thinking of someone else if you think that I have a temper. Not exactly sure why you would confuse me for someone with a temper though, it’s not like I have pink hair or anything.” A small dig at the officer's partner that pretty much everyone knew had a slight anger issue. You couldn’t be in Piltover for more than a few minutes without either hearing about it or seeing some of the destruction.

“If I had a temper I would have a much bigger criminal record. Not that I have one at all, of course, I’m a law-abiding citizen.” No reason for her to be bragging about the number of people she’s killed while talking to a cop of all people.

Vi kicked off the wall, standing back up straight to look at her partner. “How dare you keep me waiting?” She teased, wearing that usual smug grin of hers and sporting that over dramatic tone she often did before letting out a laugh. “Kidding, kidding. Not that long actually.”
