If number 2 is still open can I ask for Kid and Killer with Female reader? ❤
Hello!! I genuinely hope you enjoy these, this specific prompt for these 2 is just SO beyond funny to me? Like it worked so well and I had such a fun time writing out Kid being feral and Killer being a wonderful boy. Thank you so much for your request ❤
Also I swear everyone I will work on posting these earlier so they’re not so over the dateline 😔
Getting Kid into an ugly Christmas Sweater will be an almost impossible feat for his S/O. Even suggesting the idea to him will make him scoff in disgust, or even trigger a whole argument about how stupid the whole idea is, even more so if she wants them to match. He’s Eustass “Captain” Kid of the Kid Pirates; he’s made a name for himself by being ruthless and violent; so to stuff him in a stupid sweater and be matchy matchy like a bunch of sappy idiots? She can forget about it completely.
If she wants it on him, she’s going to have to fight. In order to get the damned sweater on him, she’s going to practically have to wrestle the thing on. She’ll have to treat Kid like a feral animal, finding a way to pin him down and slide it onto him while he’s kicking and screaming about how screwed they’re going to be when he gets free (even having to recruit a few willing members of his crew to help). Kid will almost be like a stubborn toddler, and once the sweater is on? He’ll actually throw a fit and be completely annoyed.
After having the sweater on for about five minutes, the sleeves will be off, the neck of it will be cut lower to expose his chest, and it’ll be tucked into his pants. Even if Kid’s girlfriend managed to pick out something that isn’t too gaudy and fits with his punk aesthetic; he’ll still take matters into his own hands with the design. If he has to wear it, he’s going to make damn sure it doesn’t look totally dumb especially after having his girl take all that time to get it on him.
Kid won’t tolerate anyone making fun of him and his S/O for matching, or staring at him for too long while wearing it; so with his patience already wearing thin, he’ll start more fights than usual. And if his crew so much as makes a single comment about it? He’ll be on them so fast they won’t know what hit them. By the end of the night, the sweater will be ripped off, tossed in the trash, and never spoken of again. If his S/O wants him to do this again next year, she’s going to have the same fight all over again.
While Killer is more open to cutesy things to do with his S/O and a lot calmer than his Captain, his S/O bringing up the idea of him wearing a matching ugly Christmas sweater with her not going to go over well. He may love her dearly and he wants to make her happy, but the simple fact is he is the type of man who doesn’t much like attention on himself. He is insecure about many different things about himself, so the idea that he could wear something silly like that is pretty much off the table—even if he finds the concept of matching with her a little cute. He doesn’t want to be made a fool in front of the crew or anyone else.
She will really have to beg, plead, and give him constant reassurance that he will be fine wearing a sweater if she really wants him in it. It would be quite a few days of constant debating. Killer will really waiver back and forth between the idea the more she goes on about it, and will only agree to it if he’s allowed to pick the ugly sweaters for them to wear. While he may appreciate her enthusiasm and stubbornness to make him wear it, he’s not going to be caught dead in something over the top or crazy. The design will wind up being something completely basic; a solid color, and a pattern that is only just ugly enough to make it stand out.
At first, it’ll be more than obvious that Killer isn’t the biggest fan of it. It’s tight around his muscles, too warm, a little itchy, too loud. Throughout the night though, Killer will get used to wearing the ugly thing and begins to not even mind it. While he may think the concept of an ugly sweater is silly, the fact that his S/O is beaming from ear to ear and complimenting him is more than enough to get him to really start enjoying it. He doesn’t even mind Kid, who will take less than subtle little jabs at him about it.
When it’s time to turn in for the night, and the ugly sweaters need to come off, Killer will make sure to take his off carefully and fold it gently to make sure that it doesn’t get damaged at all. He started out the whole experience not liking the idea, but by the end, he enjoyed seeing his S/O so happy that he’s more than okay with wearing it again next year; doing his best to slip it into the conversation with her as they’re getting ready for bed.
