The train station was busy this time of year, with all the people visiting friends and family before the holidays. Phoenix almost felt lucky to be returning from his own visit with an old friend: he could say he avoided the crowd, but really he was in the thick of the first waves of it.

Sighing, the attorney collected his luggage and took a moment to stand around the station, wondering how he was going to get his things -and- the gifts from Maya out of here.
