Fem!Lawzawa means Aizawa can get out of her abusive marriage (not easy but not next to impossible). Therefore either:

- Aizawa is single and this was dealt with so Lawzawa happens faster.

- Timeline is the same as canon, Aizawa is very pregnant at the start of the Kira case in place of Eriko. L hears one thing about that marriage and comes in the next day like "I got a judge to divorce you. It so happens my hotel rooms and giant building are perfect for you to get back on your feet."

Weird year for Aizawa.

Honestly she would absolutely be the type to pursue the Kira case even though that would be literally detrimental to her pregnancy.

In my mind femzawa is still married to a woman, but the concept of eriko abusing aizawa while she’s pregnant ohhh that makes me angry.

even though i don't post about them, just so you know Lawzawa is like an ubiquitous part of death note for me, like it's a given. they had something going on. they never acted upon it, but they were aware of it. it's like an intristic layer of their relation.

I've never actually seen an Aizawa ship in the wild except with Matsuda, but I presume L and Aizawa have the most angst because they have the most conflict, and also because L's the only one on the list who dies? Like a maximum of a week after they can patch things up? Pretty straightforward IMO

The Lawzawa fics are so angsty I can’ttttt. At first, I wasn’t very fond of the ship until I read the Ao3 fics. Rarepair with great angst. I agree, they’d have the most angst due to their conflict, but I also think Aizawa x Ide would have angst as well.
