Those who choose to carry a concealed firearm often question which method is best – on-body or off-body? Each one has its pros and cons and both are highly debated as to which one is more efficient. Although carrying off-body is more versatile and inconspicuous, knowing what you will use, where you intend to go, and proper training of using said methods is crucial in being prepared in a variety of different places and situations. It is also imperative to train for situations when standing, sitting, or on the move among a crowd as each position renders its own challenges. Lastly, ensuring that off-body carrying is most comfortable for you is crucial for situational awareness and preparedness. Knowing where you go, which carry method you choose, training with said method, and practicing and anticipating each scenario and setting you may encounter is key.
