i was initially disappointed the exotic i found was blue and then i realized it matches Laylaps and now i wouldn't have it any other way

My shield depleted, ammunition spent, I crawl backwards, unable to take my eyes off the massive insect towering above me. It's the largest sand worm I've ever seen. It's circular mouth contains row upon row of grinding teeth. Stubby legs wave in the air as it rears back, preparing to strike. I wait for the massive insect to swallow me whole. The worm explodes abruptly, in a shower of viscera. I didn't know Laylaps had a weapon.

So I died and lost my inventory in NMS and it was unrecoverable. I was so bummed because like a chump I was carrying all my important stuff in there.

But they I realised, Laylaps was gone.

I wish I was joking, but I legit started crying. I know its just a silly little companion in a game, but it felt so empty without it.

But Reddit, for all the shir ive been saying about reddit these last few days, they saved me. I got my Laylaps back.

Thank you Snoo-39991, you are my hero. You saved my friend.

So now me and Laylaps is going on a quest to get all those resources again :D
