I always forget how pretty, and absolutely massive No Man's Sky is.

This planet reminded me of Haven, especially the planet Source, where that game takes place.

I have such good memories of that game and it's stellar soundtrack by Danger...

This weekend's Weekend Event is NOT a feed the beasts mission, but the mission's planet is absolutely teaming with fauna! Which are mostly just shapes moving in the darkness. LOL The top pic is daylight-going-to-dusk and the bottom pic is night. Glyphs in the pics. But if color-shifted dark planets (Haunted Emeril, to be precise) aren't your thing, I noticed a Bountiful Planet in the system, also!

-{{ Some nebulous amount of time ago I had posted about my "build limit killer" base, Ringview Basin. I was kind of bummed about tearing it down, so...

I immediately placed a new computer down about 700u or so away from the old base, in the same valley, so I could recreate a portion of it as I tore the rest down. Presenting: Ringview Basin II.

The main reason I built the original was to bring my mom here, she loves the ringed planets and having a nice view of their rings... and dammit, there's going to be a base in this valley for her to come check out someday when she's ready to play again! }}-
