Okay. So I was going to title this post as "Lazur Thug with mah Homies" but I realized that was out of my character so I stuck with my boring self thus the equally boring title. Haha. Anyhoo, some few weeks ago I was randomly reading some blogs when I came across this post. I then remembered that we always pass by Centris and the times I would nag my parents to eat there because of the pretty lights (HAHA) I also always pass by there because I commute to and from school everyday. So continuing with the randomness, I decided to message all of my friends (those of whom I've missed so much) and asked them if they're willing to play a game of lasers. I was never really the type to "plan" and make aya, so imagine how happy I was when they said yes!
Anyway, I'll let the photos do the talking now. :)
Before you reach the actual arena, you would first be greeted by a flight of stairs. There would be a time where you could open the wrong door (which will lead you to the lower level of the arena itself haha) so be careful and ask first! :P
Anyway, I went around the place to take photos to show you guys! Responsible blogger, noh? Not! Haha. So here are their rates! They charge 170 per head on weekdays and 190 per head on weekends and holidays. One game is good for 15 minutes. But before you go comment on how inhumane and unfair the rates are, I've got to tell you. You really wouldn't be able to tell 15 minutes from 1 hour once you're inside the arena. I promise! Before the clock even hits 5 minutes you will be sweating.like.a.pig. Some might even think of giving up, but why would you do that right? It's really worth it, I tell you! :)
Here's me, Gela and Aira before being ushered inside the briefing room. I love the briefing room (although our stay inside was quite... brief) It's really nice because everything that is colored white would emanate this bluish glow. I was wearing white and although I didn't "glow" like the other white stuff (must be the cloth) it was still awesome. I felt like a character inside a video game! Coolbeans! :D
This is actually my notepad! I gave it to Dom because it has doodles on the cover (and because he had high persuasive powers) Haha!
Inside they played a very brief video presentation on how to play the game. My favorite part was when they flashed "No climbing on the walls and scenery" Haha. I just found it really funny. :P Also, this was the time when I removed all of my accessories. You never know what might break or fall off with all the running *oops. Running is prohibited* inside.
After that, we were moved to the next room where all the "equipment" was stored. There are lockers there and the referee would be asking you to leave all your things before going inside the arena. There were no locks though so if you're really concerned with your stuff, I suggest you bring one with you :)
We decided to not form teams and be up against each other instead, so we were all given different colors. Everyone had the cool ones (Dom got pink and Gela got Turquoise) so I ended up choosing Red. Haha! Also, names will be assigned to you and it will depend on the gun you will chose. I was Olympia for that day. :>

After the "referee" went around blasting us with some alien remote, we were moved to the next room, the arena itself. It has two levels, one upper and one lower. The walls are painted with luminous paint, and had various signs. The room was dark, as expected. The floors were painted with glowing arrows to guide you. It was all very foreign to me (this was my first time!) but I had fun nonetheless. The bell sounded (or at least I thought it was a bell) an electronic voice said "Get ready" and the game began! :D
And here we are, 15 minutes later. Sweaty, tired, body aching but happy. :D
After the game you would each be given little papers with the name of your gun showing you your rank and score. We were then asked to exit from the same door we entered through (because another set of players were being briefed) took off our vests, went back in the arena, took photos inside (HAHAHA) and exited to the function room.
Look at the scores, you guys! Medyo malapit kasi yung scores nung dalawang boys sa aming girls diba? Naman! Haha!
Olympia and Hellfire! Taken right after we exited the arena. Oh diba sabi sa inyo pagpapawisan ka talaga! Hagardo Versoza, pero keribels padin! :P
I don't know why but I find this photo of me really funny. Haha!
My self declared PSGs. Haha!
And some more photos from my camera. Thank you Emy for the other photos! :D
Just a tip. If there is another group inside, NEVER hang out near the TV where the scored are flashed. Because the moment they get out of the arena, they would be crowding around the TV and it will be an awkward moment for you and your friends to pretend that they are not there. Haha!
Thank you guys! I had so much fun! <3
We will definitely come back! :D
