Week 39/52: September 26th - October 2nd 2022 | Birthday Dinner #3 🍰🕯️

Woke up at 5am to work a full school day shift (a shit one too lol wtf is up with BBYN kids????), went home, got ready, and headed over to Mott32 to celebrate with my Presotea friends and their partners LOL. Super fancy Chinese restaurant (the 2 doesn’t go together but they pulled it off hahhaah) and we ordered soup dumplings, mapo tofu, spicy chicken, fried rice (not pictured), and Peking duck hehehehe. Overall everything was so yums!!!! I love Chinese food LMAO. They had a $5 per person cake cutting fee so we just went to Shelly’s apartment to eat the cake after dinner HAHAHA we so extra IDK why we always end up in Shelly’s home after my birthday always hahhahahaa. Thank you Shelly for the cake hehehe ❤️

Fried gyoza and one of my favorite Chinese dishes, 辣子鶏 làzǐjī. It’s chicken soaked in a spicy marinade, then deep fried with a bunch of chili peppers and whole cloves of garlic. So addictive.
