about that interview i find it very funny that Kensho Ono asks the audience about Akutagawa's death scene in s5 and what do they think his expression mean. This has been debated to hell and back, but i'll still show a comparison bc

these are NOT the same at all....

#anime scene is like: desperation. madness in aku's eyes. he might resent atsushi #manga scene is the softest akutagawa you've ever seen #my memory is a bit blurry and i don't remember Kensho Ono's delivery i don't doubt he killed it (no pun intended) but the visuals changing #do subtract from it a lot...#me to myself: it's been 2 years get over it #lazutxt

i like how we collectively agreed that aku being "pretty" later on was only because of the shift on atsushi's perception of him, like as a narrative resource i think it's a good way to show the way he changed instead of being told by another character "yeah he thinks for himself and has morals now"

now to the important things: the song has a really good bassline

i do actually think putting Madara, Leo and Rei being silly together on a story is the best way to cheer me up i'm being such a simple person right now

i know chuuya is the cool motorcycle character but they should give Atsushi one for the funsies

#he can't drive but he can learn. to drive a motorcycle just for me #maybe beast atsushi? for more impact #imagine how cooler the orphanage scene would've been if he just hopped off a bike #and then turned into a tiger #pm transfer atsushi riding a bike and akutagawa holding on to him for dear life like he did back at the mines #hmmm #lazutxt

got reminded of the coat, so here's my hc that Ango found Atsushi all curled up on the submarine with it on, used his skill to see what had happened since Atsu was quite shocked (Atsushi says Ango listened to his whole story but, i think someone so thorough would want every detail) and just kept the coat himself to try and dig out Dazai's memories before leaving the mafia (after Odasaku died) later on.
