I have a Cockatiel that is about 3 1/2 months old, I was told that because she is a baby she should eat mainly millet and parakeet seeds. And that I should wait until she is a bit older to start feeding her cockatiel food. I was wondering if I could have your insight on this because I want to give her the best diet possible. Thank you so much! I watch all of your videos on YouTube and they are so helpful!

Try to get her on to pellets asap, they’ll be far healthier than seeds.  I don’t generally recommend cockatiel mixes in general if you are going to choose to go the route of seeds, they’re loaded with sunflower and safflower seeds which are extremely fatty, captive birds aren’t easily able to burn off that level of fat which can weaken the immune systems and pose risks of liver disease (among others).  A good pellet base and plenty of fresh vegetables and sprouts are going to make for a healthy birb.
