The day arrived when Sportacus's uncle decided to return to his duties. The children had thrown a party for him the day before to mark the occasion. However, early in the morning, as he was getting ready to leave, he tried to have one last conversation with Sportacus.

While helping to clean Uncle Sportacus's horse, Trixie couldn't resist the urge to act; she pulled out a water balloon and scored a direct hit on Sportacus. Sportacus decided to return the favor and started spraying the kids with the garden hose. It was all great fun, even though everyone ended up soaked to the skin.

Sportacus’s birthday party was proceeding calmly. Unfortunately, the peace was short-lived, as a metallic-purple mechanical bull suddenly charged onto the playing field. Seeing his crystal signal the alarm, Sportacus snatched the red tablecloth from the table, vaulted over the low wall, and landed on the field. The children shouted as Sportacus stood his ground before the enraged mechanical bull. He remembered the times he used to play matador with his uncle’s black stallion.
