Little Bit Of News || The Houghs

Julianne was nervous to tell Derek. She was over the moon to find out that they were getting to expand their family but she was unsure how Derek would take it. Julianne was sure that her older brother was starting to accept the fact that she was marred - despite how disappointed he was with the way she went around it. Julianne hated the fact that Derek could ever be mad at her. Throughout everything, he was her rock, he was the one who picked her up when she thought she couldn’t go on, how kept her strong when competitions got too much. He could do no wrong in her eyes. That is why she had him over to the house, in case he had a bad reaction. She checked on the food she was cooking for lunch and then sat on the sofa, reading for him to arrive.

Little Bit of News | Nolissa

Melissa was excited, really excited. Ever since the morning she had been bursting to share her news with Nolan but she wanted to go about this in a way he wouldn’t forget. She went out and bought some supplies and a box to put them in. She told Nolan that while he was at work she was going to start clearing out the closets in order for them to move to Canada. She really couldn’t believe that this was her life right now, she was so happy she couldn’’t contain herself. In the box she put a baby bottle, a pacifier, some baby grows and a bib. At the very bottom was a t-shirt which said ‘worlds best dad’ and her positive pregnancy test. She wrote his name on the top of it - using her left hand so it didn’t look like her writing -  and sat it on the table, waiting for him to come home, excitedly.
