Being a scrub nurse Lucia did not just spend time in the operating room, but had a lot of responsibilities. For instance, postop and preop. Some thought this was an easy job, but depending on the patients currently there it could be very stressful. It had definitely been one of those stressful days. Lucia had been running between codes all day. This time one of the codes brought her to a postop patient. Lucia immediately got the code team and let them start working as she grabbed the patient’s chart to see which doctor was responsible for the patient. After a quick look on the chart Lucia swiftly took a step out of the room to shout to the nurses’ station, “Page Dr Wilson”
