The same can be said of Bullying which has always been association with being unkind in your actions and inhumane in ones choice of words towards others. Everyone in his or her own space can change this negative narrative of these alphabets B-U-L-L-Y-I-N-G to positive vibes of redefining human relationships. Emerging technologies like social media have been a veritable source of information dissemination which has equally made human interactions seamless at the click of a button irrespective of time, means and location due to the ubiquity of these technologies. Parental mediation in the usage of these technologies have also been a source of societal concern as there is the prevalence of uncouth behaviour which stems from the lack of the requisite netiquette competencies and skills by children or teenagers to navigate this space as their fickle mind are not well matured nor nurtured appropriately. Airen Edale Adetimirin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Library, Archival and Information Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria 2008. She is involved with teaching and research supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her research interests are ICT use by different user groups, Distance Learning, Ethics and Knowledge Management. Dr Adetimirin is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), member of: the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Nigerian Association of Library and Information Science Educators (NALISE), Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), United Kingdom and Informing Science, United States of America. She has attended many conferences and workshops in Nigeria and other countries abroad and published in both local and international. She has the professional competencies that are expected from a seasoned information professional of global repute.
