honestly what can you say about an icon? you write like an icon. you have grace and class and i have so much respect for that? OH and okay listen i ADORE the way you describe things. i adore it so much. your word usage, smilies, metaphors... all that shit combines to make these really apt and cool descriptions that create such exact and perfect pictures in my head... i almost wonder if i’m seeing exactly what you saw when you wrote it. it’s incredible. and the best part is that i don’t think you even have to try. you just do it. you just create these perfect descriptions and this crystal clear imagery like that’s just the way you breathe and it’s amazing. honestly. i see what you write like it’s a tv show. a really, really well done tv show. i feel so much based upon the pictures you give me too. you take an aesthetic and you make it with words. and i love it. what you do is a gift, honestly and i commend you for it. i thank you for it. it’s impossible not to be immersed in what you write, it’s impossible to not be in love with it because it’s so GOOOD and alive and real and right in front of me and sometimes i wonder if i can actually FEEL how you characters feel in my chest. tbh meghan markle should look up to you, love

Marcie wasn’t just pissed, she was stressed but neither could be read from her face as she pilled her bags by the door, waiting for Penn’s arrival. She had called him to her, based on the fact that her house was more on the route than his own, her car would never survive the trip of even half way, and the fact that she simply had no desire to. Marcella needed her time. Partly to process the reality that her relationship was partly crumbling and she hadn’t noticed ‘til now. Who ditched a wedding for work? And mainly to focus on the excitement of her best friend getting married. There was no room to worry about spending however long she’d be stuck riding with a man that she hadn’t seen in too long. None. So why was she so worried? Marcie shook the thoughts out of her head as she heard a car pull up. Immediately assuming it was him, she began dragging her bags out, back turned to him, trying to give herself more time to be peacefully stressed.

Not many people would address their lawyers in such a manner, or anyone really. But it’s her, and quite frankly, Katya didn’t care how she came across to the other. If anything, visits like these were rare and far in between, so it was impossible for the woman to be a burden to the other even if she tried to intentionally fuck something up. Fully entering the space, Katya seats herself by the desk and rests her purse in her lap, cracking a smile at the expression on the other’s face. “Relax, I come in peace. Nothing’s fucked up. I don’t have no warrants on my ass. I just need a favor.”

Leia turned off the tv with a sigh. Tossing the remote to the side, she snuggled further into the soft, cool sheets of Dragan’s bed. She probably should get out and start the day, but a headline caught her eye and she’d spent the past few hours watching news special after news special. Some royal had given birth and, in all honesty, Leia was pretty charmed. Ever since she was a little girl, she’d always been fascinated by royalty. She found such inspiration in queens and princesses and dreamed of being one. Obviously she was quick to learn that America didn’t have princesses and she was shit out of luck. So her dreams of tiaras and galas would have to stay a fantasy.

But then she met Dragan and was practically swept off her feet. Something about the grumpy redhead brought something out in her and Leia fell in love quick and fast and hard. They just seemed to work well together and, after years of flings and relationships light on the romance, she had found someone to be serious about. He’d met her family; charmed her mother and uncles and brother. He had financial security, he was smart and strong, he was hard working and selfless. He was absolutely perfect... except for one thing. The thing that had her watching hour after hour of news reports about a royal baby.

Dragan was a prince, and Leia was not prepared. Her younger self would be jumping for joy, thrilled at the idea of dating a real life prince. But the reality was so much more difficult. With their relationship still being kept under wraps, they had so many protocols and rules to follow. Despite trying, they could never have a normal relationship. If Leia wanted chicken nuggets at 2 in the morning, they couldn’t just hop in the car and go. They had to notify security detail. Granted, the love they shared was more than enough to make up for the additional headache, but it was still something to consider. Especially with what Dragan had mentioned this morning. He wanted Leia to meet his family, and by extension, make their relationship public. If they went public, that would be it. No going back to being just Leia. Her whole life would change. Was it even worth it? Would they regret this desicion, whatever they decided, in a year? She burrowed deeper under the covers, as if hiding away would take the desicion away. Maybe some quiet introspection would help her think.

Shoes in hand, along the shore Crystal walked, the sound of the waves meeting with the land music to her ears. Dusk had fallen not long ago making the beach nearly empty. For a longtime she had wanted to visit but never quite had the chance to do so. It was a spontaneous decision. One that was made so quickly she had forgotten what she originally had planned for the evening. Knowing she’d remember eventually, she didn’t bother to think much on it.

Evening and night was always when she did her most roaming. Mainly because it was hard for her to tolerate the mortals and their ways anymore but partially because she found that particular time of day to be the most tranquil. Although she appreciated good company, there was part of Crystal that appreciated being alone as well. Granted she had her days when she missed her family and could have used a friend, but being away from them and alone for so long, it was as those days were becoming rarer and rarer.

Too deep in her thoughts, Crystal was quickly bought out of them when she was unexpectedly knocked to the ground. Shaking her head, she returned to reality and found herself being licked by a big beast. A gentle giant. A canine. Through her laughter she pushed the animal off if her and sat up. Catching her breath, she caught sight of an individual coming her way. As the creature stood before her, from her place on the ground she gave it the attention it desired. Scratching it she looked to the other and asked,” Does this gentle beast belong to you?”

Her inner peace was something that didn’t come easy, in fact, the journey towards reaching it had been a trying one. overcoming self-doubt and insecurities was a big accomplishment for nova. she gave her heart time to heal and used the personal time to get to know herself again. but, even with an endless amount of self-healing, she still found herself questioning what she possibly did wrong. his infidelity brought forth feelings nova swore she buried. she was incapable of hate towards others, yet she couldn’t help but be a little enraged with herself. she felt loss, not loss of love or loss of trust, but loss of progress. it felt as though a reset button had been pressed. here she was, on the verge of an emotional breakdown in her car, meeting up with her boyfriend’sother girlfriend. her sweaty palms tightened more onto the steering wheel while she sat in the parking lot of her favorite café. a few deep exhales later, nova finally worked up the nerve to leave the comfort of her car. after all, she was the one to reach out to the other. the aroma of arabica beans took a little of the edge off as she ordered her usual drink, adding a scone in hopes of the other showing up. nova settled into her favorite unoccupied window table. enjoying the luminescent evening lights of the city, as it reflected vivid colors against the rain droplets cascading down the café’s window. she silently hoped their meeting would be amicable and not a misdirection of who they both should be angry with.
