The Inquisitor. Teagan had heard a lot of things about the man, both good and bad. That was one thing that stayed constant in a world gone mad: there were always rumours, and they almost always conflicted. Teagan had kept his ear to the ground, soaking up as many rumours as he could until Varric sent him a letter about Corypheus.
That name still made him cringe. He thought he’d killed Corypheus years ago, put an end to someone who could have been so much trouble, but apparently, he’d failed. He had to put things right, fix his mistake and help all of those who had been damaged by it. So here he was in Skyhold, leaning against the battlements and waiting to be introduced to someone who also wanted to set the world right. Varric had said good things about the man.
Sure enough, he heard Varric introduce him as the Champion of Kirkwall and pushed himself off the battlements, trying to look a bit more professional. He still cut quite a figure, towering at 6′7″ in his armour, but the slight smile on his face, however slight it was, softened his appearance just slightly.
“Though I don’t exactly use that title much anymore, I am pleased to meet you as well, Inquisitor.” He stepped forward, examining the other man. An elf, younger than him, but with a kind face. That was definitely good to see. This world was quite short of kindness, though he felt bad someone so young had this much on his shoulders. “I came as soon as I got Varric’s letter. I am always glad to help, and considering that it’s Corypheus, it’s my duty to.”
