why are spotify embeds so gigantic here. anyway i thought it would be cute to share stuff i've been listening to, keep the blogging spirit alive you know?

i was recently reminded of this song via a friend after having not listened to it in literal years. do you ever revisit a song/album/etc and it suddenly means something to you when it didn't before... because that's what happened to me with this & i tear up every time i play it now lol

i haven't been posting as much on twitter recently bc art has been slow going, but every time i go on mini posting breaks like this it reminds me of life before i started posting my stuff online & i start to miss it lol. blah blah blah something about not feeling obligated to share everything....

sometimes i wonder what it'd be like if i left it behind entirely. realistically i won't bc that seems like a waste; i'll just keep taking breaks like i've been, but fading into obscurity is, as always, ever so tempting.. (or is it just me wanting to fall back into old habits?)

on a tangentially related note: i read 'my lesbian experience with loneliness' for the first time today and it was weirdly resonant, like.. majorly so. minus the whole love hotel deal—it feels like i'm on the same trajectory orz

i’ve never really been one to post my thoughts on tumblr, even throughout the years i used it most so this is very..... foreign to me..... but i figure i better get used to it lest another undisclosed site craps the bed for good. not to mention that i do actually favor not having a character limit as someone who does not shut up once i get going (as evidenced here)
