 there's  an  odd  comfort  in  the  way  that  caroline  is  dressed  tonight.  nothing  about  this  good  place  is  familiar  or  comfortable  to  him.  but  that  is.  although  it  never  had  been  before  ,  so  damon  chalks  it  up  to  boredom  (  as  if  there  isn't  plenty  going  on  ).  ❝the  tiara  is  a  little  much  ,  don’t  you  think  ?❞  he  asks  from  behind  her  ,  as  he  plucks  it  from  the  top  of  her  head.  damon  sets  it  on  his  own  head  ,  and  it  is  far  too  small.  ❝better.❞

WITH  THE  KNOWLEDGE  OF  beth’s  arrival  still  fresh  on  her  mind  ,  meg  knew  her  other  sisters  couldn’t  be  far  .  the  sun  was  shining  brightly  as  she  strolled  along  one  of  the  beautifully  decorated  streets  ,  eyes  peeled  for  the  remaining  two  sisters  she  had  yet  to  reunite  with  .  it’s  then  she  catches  sight  of  her  ,  sitting  on  a  bench  a  little  further  down  the  road  ,  and  it  takes  everything  in  her  not  to  call  out  to  her  in  that  instant    .  meg  still  wastes  no  time  in  approaching  her  sister  ,  sliding  into  the  spot  next  to  her  .    “  mind  if  i  join  you  ?  ”  she  greets  her  ,  lips  curving  into  a  smile  as  her  hands  fold  in  her  lap  .  /  jo  march  ( @lcvelttrs​ )
