An irritated sigh fell from Noctis’s lips as he passed the same flouriest for the third time. It was official, he was lost. He almost wanted to ask for directions back to the the Leville, but it was a nice day, and he was sure he’d pass by it sooner or later. Of course, he knew Ignis and Gladiolus would come looking for him if he wasn’t back by nightfall, so he had plenty of time to make it back on his own.

He surveyed the area and spotted a small café nearby. “Might as well stop for a snack.”

A loud and uncomfortable grumble erupted from Damon’s stomach for the umpteenth time. “Shut up, shut up..” the young Slytherin began skipping two steps as he hurried down a spiral staircase, headed for the great hall.

Damon picked up speed as he approached the hall, pushing aside first year Gryffindor’s in the process. “Move it, kid.” Within moments he arrived for lunch and took a seat that was closest to the door.

The night was quiet as Damon parked his car in a private lot, yard lights illuminating the path leading to a cigar lounge. He stepped out of his convertible and leisurely walked to the door, casual smile on his face in an attempt to blend in.

After speaking with the man at the door, Damon was allowed inside. The Victorian décor and overheard conversation made Damon feel underdressed, for he wore a black, single breasted jacket with a skinny black tie. Opting out of socializing, Damon found a seat tucked back in the corner and took a seat, ordering a drink as well as a cigar.

Damon seemed to turn to stone as the lips touched his skin, voice caught in his throat. He didn’t know how to react at first at all, which in turn caused his emotions to shift from one thing to the next, eventually landing on subtle fear. “Oh my--what the hell are you doing?”

He pulled away and covered the spot where Elijah kissed him with his hand, cheeks a subtle shade of red. “Tearing out the vein’s in my neck is kind of a morbid way to kill me, don’t you think. I think I’d prefer you tear my heart out my chest if that’s the case.” Damon’s assumption was solely based on past interactions with the Original vampires. After all, he couldn’t think of a single reason why Elijah would want to kiss him, of all people.
