“I’m sorry, but there’s no way you’ll get me to do that.” He considered himself to be a nice person, and to almost always go out of his way for others, but even he had his limits, even if it was something as silly as that. “I rather save myself from the embarrassment.”

inviting her neighbor over for dinner since he didn’t have the time to cook was something that hana enjoyed. his company had always been pleasant to the female. moreover, food always tasted better with company and he was a good one. occasionally when he would have a free day and she would have a difficult one, he’d also do the same for her. “have a seat and let’s eat.” she said while gesturing him to sit down. “let me get the glasses fast.” she skipped her way to the kitchen almost stumbling on her feet but managing to not fall. 

the table was already served with two identical plates of recipes she had copied from the internet. that day she made fish fingers with a semi-spicy breadcrumb coating and a chip butty. in the middle of the plate there was a mini bowl with mayo. and to accompany their comfort food, hana made a very quick season salad. bringing the glasses to the table she sat down opposite to him while making eye contact. “if you want a second serving let me know.” she took her chopsticks to eat with them the fish fingers. “you seem really tired min hyuk. how was your day at work? tell me everything. i want to hear today’s story.”

“i don’t have time for small talk.” venus said as she approached booth that the other was sitting at. she put the books on the table before she tucked her skirt under her and slid across from them. “teach me all you know about micro-biology in the next twenty minutes so i don’t fail my exam.”
