🔥🍞Quarantine Bread 🍞🔥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ___ YOU NEED: 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp active dry yeast 1 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 1/2 cups warm water ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ LETS BAKE! •In a large mixing bowl place the flour, salt and yeast together and sir. •Add the water and mix with a spoon or by hand to incorporate into the flour. Don’t over mix! •Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours. I usually leave it by the window and let it rise overnight. More time the better! •The next day, preheat the oven to 450F and place the cast iron pot inside the oven. •Dust your work surface with flour and place the dough on it. •Flatten the dough and wrap it like an envelope by bringing the sides toward the middle. Cover it with a floured towel while the oven is pre-heating. •Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and transfer the dough into the baking dish and cover with lid. •Bake covered for 30 minutes. •After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for 15 minutes until the loaf is golden brown. •Remove the loaf from the baking dish and let cook on rack before slicing.
