this is not me trying to be special and contrarian for the sake of it: why was everyones* assumption that silksong was going through production hell??

"i can't believe they were just having fun!!" you cant??????

"they were basically radio silent!" maybe they are just less focused on advertising and updating and being on social media and more focused on making the game. clearly they didn't need to do anything but what they HAVE done because... people are talking about silksong anyways

silksong is the culmination of a small team of peoples hard work... for like 7 years. treat it less like "hollow knight 2" and more like an art piece. a story. a setting being expanded upon. not every game developer is going to want/care about publicity or updating people on everything... maybe they wanted to stay off socials to keep their artistic vision un-tainted. is that an insane thing to say
