          to say she looks uncomfortable is an understatement, but then again she is a tiny sprout in comparison to all these huge inmates surrounding her. beau had never thought she’d have to visit her boyfriend from prison, and frankly it was not something really wanted to do. everyone scared her, and she was scared for aspen as well. her dad used to be a prison guard for a short time, she had heard stories from him ( ones she wasn’t exactly meant to hear ). so beau would like to think she knows what goes on inside. aspen meant way too much to her to just let him go, so every three or four weeks she’d come visit him. she’d call him nearly every day though, she’d go insane with worry if she didn’t. but she was only allowed about two visits per month, if he was being good. entering the visiting room she can’t help but light up the moment she sees him, trying very hard not nearly tackle him on the spot. ( if she was allowed to do so, she most definitely would have ). the brunette is quick to sit down across from him, relief filling her chest as he looks just the same as the last time she saw him. “ --- hi baby. “

“ no one will notice if we hold hands under the table ~ ” dasha!!

It's so insanely primary school that it makes Sasha's cheeks physically ache from how wide he smiles. If anyone had asked him where he'd be five years ago, his answer wouldn't have been in New York, crushing on an angelic boy with eyes like honey and a smile just as sweet. Life worked out in weird ways, however, and Sasha found himself exactly where he wanted to be.

Like all the times before, Sasha is glad that it's just the two of them for dinner. While their dates aren't as often as Sasha would like, thanks to his constant time in a recording studio, the chances they do have mean everything to him. It's why, when they finally have a night off to spend together, Sasha takes his first chance to treat Deacon to an actual meal that doesn't consist of fast food or shitty pizza.

Deacon's soft voice fills his ears before he feels warm fingers touch the back of his hand. He opens his palm automatically, smile radiant as he peeks a look at his boy. "If you keep blushing like that, they just might." He's teasing, reaching over to poke at Deacon's red cheek, his Russian accent thick and foreign in the Brooklyn air.

Sasha wants to lean over and kiss him, or wrap Deacon in his arms and never let go, but he promised to take it slow. The angel before him is delicate, to be handled with caution, and Sasha wants to make sure he crosses every box off of Deacon's comfort list before he ever touches his own. Others — namely, Deacon's shitty best friend and his god awful boyfriend — take and take and take from him, and it pisses Sasha off to no end. He won't be like them. He can't. Deacon deserves so much better than that.

Underneath the table, Deacon laces their fingers together before he squeezes appreciatively. Sasha ends up pressing a kiss to his cheek, and smiles happily as his own cheeks dust with color.

“You’re so beautiful,” he murmurs against Deacon, thumb rubbing slow circles along the back of his hand. Deacon’s hands aren’t soft like Sasha ever imagined, but they’re the hands of an artist — calloused in the right spots and covered in ink or paint or charcoal at all times. Sasha loves everything about Deacon. Loves it all, can confidently think it, however he doesn’t know if he has the guts to admit it aloud just yet. Beside him, Deacon pushes at his chest, a laugh bubbling up from his lips paired with a stooooop.

Sasha kisses his cheek again, smile infectious. Deacon’s his damn sunshine. “One of these days, it’s going to be you and me, like this, only we’ll be in a countryside, with three kids and a dog and a ring on our finger, and it’s gonna be the best damned heaven I’ll ever know.” So much for taking it slow. Deacon giggles again, like Sasha tells a joke, but he nods seriously. “Didn’t you know? All Russians can tell the future. I only speak the truth.”

"I just thought it was time for us to make a home together.” nixpennn

Out of anything in the world, Nixon never once imagined himself in a relationship. Never once did he imagine himself happy, over-joyously so, and definitely not in a ‘till death do we part way. When Nixon imagined his future, be it at twelve or fifteen or even twenty, all he saw was darkness. Black. Empty. Loneliness. He never imagined himself in a place where he’d want to live to see another day, curled up in the warm embrace of a man who knew nothing but to love him wholly.

Nixon got choked up the first time he told Aspen he loved him. It still does. It always will.

Even now, he looks back and forth between Aspen’s unwavering gaze and the gold key between his fingers. Nixon thinks for sure that he’s been in some weird eight month long lucid dream, or maybe he’s in a coma. Aspen feels real to the touch, though. Everything about it feels real. He can’t stop thinking about the way Aspen brought it up so casually. He’d been toying over the idea for weeks, asking Aspen to move in to his shitty Manhattan apartment, but it looks like Aspen jumped the gun.

The mere idea of it all makes Nixon fill to the brim with happiness. He wants the early weekend mornings together, tangled in the sheets with sleepy forehead kisses. He wants the hectic work days, when they’re both rushing for coffee and lunches only to come home crashed out on the couch. He wants the nights on the patio, chain-smoking and talking about everything under the sun. He wants the good days. He wants the bad days. He wants the sick days, and the angry days, and the lazy days, and all of the days in between.

He wants Aspen in his purest form. He wants Aspen to see himself in that same way.

Nixon stares at the key, but he already knows what his answer is. He smiles, slow, the corners of his lips twitching up. Aspen isn’t proposing, but he might as well be. He reaches for Aspen’s cheeks first, cups his jaw as he leans down to press their lips together. He pulls back breathlessly, that same soft smile on his lips, as he takes the key.

“Yes,” he nods, as if his words aren’t enough. As if his actions aren’t enough. He giggles, giddy with excitement, and his eyes shine. “You know what’s funny? I’ve been trying to think of how to ask you the same thing.”

Loud laughter echoes through the nearly empty warehouse. Calus looks up as he wipes the bloody knife clean on his jeans. There’s a wicked grin on his face, he eyes the other up and down. “Is it?” He wonders aloud. His gaze moves back to the man on the floor in between them. He’s been getting some private lessons on how to use knives in the most efficient manner. Calus still has a lot to learn, but he’s got potential and a great teacher--- It shouldn’t take him too long before he’s all caught up.

Stepping over the now dead man, Calus is still smiling and wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, leaving some blood on his chin. He takes a hold of the front of Aspen’s shirt and chuckles, “Come here then, you loser.” He pulls him closer, crashing their mouths together. There’s a bit of teeth in the beginning, but soon it’s all tongue and Calus throws the knife to the side, his fingers fisting into Aspen’s hair to pull him in closer.

yo real talk my least fav list used to be so long but now i’m just kinda like… use whomever i’ll probably end up loving them bc i’ll associate them with the character! i think the only fc’s i’d have a really hard time writing against (or for) would be benedict cumberbatch and tom hiddleston??? i just… can’t with those two! in all honesty everyone else is fair game, i’ll love ‘em at some point!

tbh it’s such a tie between the njbc and the group/fate crossed? i have a thing for liking all of my characters connected in some insane possible way, and it’s no different for those! i guess i can’t exactly pick one over the other because they’re both so special to me in so many ways, so i’ll sit here and ramble tf out of both of them afdkgj

i’ll start with the njbc because they’re the most recent and i cry constantly over them!!! so it started off as a simple req that this darling angel @duchessdiaries picked up for astor and cora! and i was in a real rough point during that time, so i was hella eager to forget everything and just consume all that i could?? and then it turned into this beautiful plot that we just kept adding characters to and it grew from there — and it sparked some of my favorite ships, like scott and vienna, and hunter and daisy. basically the core four (scott, vienna, cora, and hunter) are these rich bitches in manhattan who act like they run the town by fuckin’ grade school, and they meet all these amazing friends along the way and they literally turn into squad goals. i looooove the amount of room for development all of our characters can bring, and i love that even though it’s a very simple plot, there’s still plenty of room for drama!!! and deceit!!! and angst!!! which we both love kjafgk it’s definitely something i could talk about all day long without taking a breath

the verse that literally sprung outta nowhere — the group and fate crossed! sit tight and buckle up because it’s gna be a looooong ride. i can’t believe that my timid ass almost didn’t send you a damn message asking to plot bc i thought you’d hate me!!! the otp to end all otps happened on a spur of the moment decision since you posted that starter on aspen and i happened to pick nixon, who at the time was extremely different than what he is now. for a while it was just the two of them in this normal ass setting of new york and i was not going to ship them but that changed within one fuckin’ reply t b h. one thread turned into many many conversations about aspen and nixon, which turned into many many alternate universes, and then like fuckin’ magic we had created this universe that snuck up outta nowhere??? i think it started when you introduced me to andrei and este (the diabolic loves of my life!!!), and i had the brilliant idea to make aspen a family member... and they all became connected? across the globe? andrei’s connections to vegas and whitney knowing nixon and missy, camden being aspen’s long lost fam bam (who gets along swimmingly with windsor!), andrei and nixon, alarik and aspen!!!! literally it’s insane how it all kinda pieced together so effortlessly, and i know we don’t talk about the others as much as we talk about nixpen, but i lovelovelove them all to pieces and i love the world we created for them :’)

a real-world setting that you’d like to use as the setting of a plot

oh man i am literally the worst at coming up with plot settings since my inspiration usually comes in the form of music..... maybe some random ass cities in states like arkansas and kentucky, or bigger cities that don’t get as much love like manhattan and los angeles do? maybe chicago, or even seattle? i think it would be cool to do a mafia sort of thing where a few states each are owned by a gang and it’s a battle of the gangs sorta deal where anyone in their path is just Fucked for life??? i dunno, one day i’ll find a city that isn’t a widely popular rp setting afjgdklgj
