Leader Ward vs Challenger Michael

Many teams are centered around powerful megas that can make or break matches, Michael’s Mawile did its fair share of breaking my team. The match was anyone’s win and was won on stronger switch ins and smarter play. Once again another battle coming down to the wire. Was Michael able to topple my gym or was I able to protect my badge from this talented challenger?

Leader Ward vs Challenger Jesse

Fighting against talented trainers like Jesse are hard enough when they use traditional competitive sets, but Jesse had a surprise for me that I fell for time and time again. It was a tough battle of hard hitting Pokemon where it came down to one Pokemon each struggling to bring a hard fought victory. Who came out victorious, my go for broke all out attackers or Jesse’s unique set powerhouses?

Leader Ward vs Challenger Devikel

Devikel was my very first challenger! I had a lot of fun during our many matches and it was very rewarding to see someone new to competitive battling grow over the course of several matches. I haven’t included all of the matches just the first and last ones along with one of the few times my Ursaring really got to shine. In the end Devikel is a really talented battler who has only gotten stronger and I’m proud to award her the Spirit Badge! I have no doubt she’ll take the rest of the League by storm. Oh and be wary of her Talonflame, it’s terrifying.
