oh my god that succkkss and its funny people said thats not normal because i thought i heard that tongue/mouth piercings heal up INSANELY fast which is so annoying ?? and i think, depending, its more painful to redo it because of the scarring tissue :’/ they should make flesh colored piercings to wear that just disguise it w/o leaving it open. septum piercings r wicked cool but i feel like id go for a nose piercing first before i take that Pain Challenge …..
like i was just planning on taking out my tongue ring for work and putting it back in when i got home but my adhd ass forgot to put it back in and by the time i tried it was all healed up and i was so miserable. i want to get it done again but it hurt so much the first time & i know it’s gonna be a million times worse the second time around :(
& i REALLY NEED a flesh colored piercing bc i’ve tried the like clear plastic ones but i always chew thru them in like .2 seconds it’s the worst!!
& YEAH i love septum piercings they’re so cool looking but nose piercings hurt soooo much & they take forever to heal and like.. am i ready for that?? probably not

huh yeah tbh id have to look up if its Actually okay to do mouth wash but god does it sound better cuz im Not into living on salt water after anything but water… ALSO ID BE SO SCARED OF IT PULLIN THRU ALL THE TIME FUCKIN DEATH i can probably only handle nose piercings at this point but septums also sound like a bitch to heal (but tbh sometimes it being painful makes me grow more attached to it)
ya it was.. definitely miserable lmao. like it hurt when i got it and it was an awful two weeks afterwards & i was so upset when the piercing sealed LITERALLY A DAY after i took it out bc i couldn’t wear it for work like.. that was the worst. i’ve heard from other ppl who have tongue piercings that it’s not normal for it to heal that fast so i guess i was just massively unlucky lmao
ALSO IF U EVER GET A LIP RING BE PREPARED FOR THE HOLES TO LITERALLY NEVER HEAL. like i’ve only been wearing one of mine & the other one’s been out for like a year and the hole is still there and will probably be there forever. literally the opposite problem w my tongue ring haha.
& i love septum piercings.. idk if i want one bc i love my nose and i’m afraid that piercing it would make it look weird but everyone i know w septum piercings loves them

hoooly shit see thats even worse than what i was thinking i cant beleive u cant even talk with it that sux. i feel like if i got a lip piercing id fiddle with it too much but i really really love my helix….even the trouble it was when i got it (tho my piercer said for tongue piercings that you can use mouth wash to sanitize it and use the salt water for all the other piercings which sounds way more pleasant than tasting salt)
yeah the healing process was reaaaaaally awful. i got it done w my friend tho so we just hung out and complained together which made it a little more bearable lmao. the person who did my piercing told me salt water only tho & i had to do the salt water wash after eating or drinking ANYTHING that wasn’t water so i was gargling salt water like.. constantly. it was pretty miserable lmao
& like i fiddled w my lip rings allll the time when i first got them & i could only wear pieces w big jewels bc if the jewels were too small i’d pull them right thru lmao. after a while tho i just kinda stopped and sometimes i forget they’re even there until someone mentions them haha

IM SO SORRY I ASKED OS MANY you answers pleased me on all the ones i was judging u 4 though good job… tongue piercings literally terrify me tho i cant imagine the healing process?? my helix is a bitch i couldnt imagine it inside my mouth
honestly getting my tongue pierced was the most painful thing i’ve ever done like i got a double lip piercing back to back and it didn’t hurt NEARLY as much. salt water washes were SUPER easy tho bc like i just had to swish it around in my mouth & not like soak a cotton ball and hold it and whatever. the worst part was that i like.. couldn’t talk for a week bc it was sore and swollen which is why i don’t want 2 like get it now bc i work retail and i have to talk all day lmao
5, 7, 9, 8, 12 (ill judge u for ur answer on 12) 13, 15, 16, 17, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 (ill judge u for this one too) 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 (judging), 47 OK THERES A LOT OF GOOD ONES SORRY
I’M PUTTING THIS UNDER A CUT BC THERE’S SO MANY
@leafpup said: Huh a stove. If im honest i always just used an iron to heat it up and then immediately shape it but Let Me Tell U its hard to get the shape perfect the first try around cuz ironing it again to heat it up fucks w the first molding
Ideally it would be an electric stove- more even and less fire fear
But maaaan, an iron? I bet that was hard to shape. Heat gun (Or hair dryer? I’ve heard people use those but have no experience) would be waaaayyyy better.
