The Leauge of Legends lore changes

Hello there.

First i wanted to copy paste this all over Leauge blogs to see what they think about that, but it was a pain in the ass because there is a limit to characters you can tipe. So il just try and tag all of them instead...

I have a statement that might get a little longer than intended. And I wanted to have your opinion on it. I’m asking this because I want to know each opinion: With the new lore changes, both to Shurima related champions and the overall theme with the league and its council, are pretty big. I would not mind them but more likely appreciate them if there weren’t tons of inconsistencies (ill get to them later).

Some of them could be resolved simply by giving more insight or some explanation. Like for example Cassiopeia. I don’t mind her being now more involved with Shurima. A theme that fits her better. But what about her curse? Now that it did not come from a betrayed promise where did it exactly come from? Was she still a diplomat for Noxus? If yes what was she seeking in Shurima?

Next ones now refer to the fact that there is no league. First of all the league was established to settle things between Noxus and Demacia without another raging war. Now that there is no such thing is there still war? Or are they just two competing states that hate each other? What about all the Threats to whole of Runeterra? Are Shadowislandians and Voidlings now simply rampaging through the land? Like Hecarim who just joined out of boredom after destroying several cities.

Or all the ever so hungry void creatures. Eating their way though towns and villages? Meanwhile there is Malzahar summoning whole armies. And think about Lee sin. Why did he become a monk in the first place now? He couldn’t have become a Summoner anyway. So why did he go to an exile? What about all the “created” ones too. Maokai, Fiddle and Nocturne to name a few. Where did they originate now?

I obviously didn’t include all of the champions that have to get a new lore or at least an explanation and a tweak, but i could not include everyone. Sorry for this long statement. I am very keen on your opinions.
